Tell Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger:
Dear Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, I believe the right to vote is fundamental to our democracy — and I’m writing to ask you to protect every Georgian’s right to be heard in government. It’s very important to me that no eligible citizen in the Peach State is disenfranchised by this public health crisis. And, you can take action in time for November’s elections to make sure this happens. We need to expand ballot access and ensure everyone can vote safely. This includes eliminating voter ID and signature matching requirements for absentee ballots, paying the postage for returned ballots, counting ballots postmarked by Election Day, making sure the drop box locations are communicated in the same way as early voting locations, eliminating the “absentee ballot fraud task force” and focusing on informing voters (in English and Spanish where the number of Spanish speaking residents exceeds the VRA threshold), expanding early voting opportunities, safely staffing and providing in-person voting options, and allowing voters to register through to Election Day. We all deserve a say in the future of our families, our communities, and our state — which is why the right to vote is sacred. Thank you for doing whatever you can to protect our vote.
