Tell Secretary of State Corey Stapleton:
Dear Secretary of State Corey Stapleton, I believe the right to vote is fundamental to our democracy — and I’m writing to ask you to protect every Montanan’s right to be heard in government. It’s very important to me that no eligible citizen in the Treasure State is disenfranchised by this public health crisis. And, you can take action in time for November’s elections to make sure this happens. We must ensure there are satellite offices on every reservation. Offices should be open for regular and reliable hours. In addition we must expand safe, distanced early voting opportunities, offer paid postage for all absentee ballots, protect same-day voter registration, and implement online voter registration and automatic voter registration to ensure access for all Montanans. Finally, we must provide election workers with diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice training. We all deserve a say in the future of our families, our communities, and our state — which is why the right to vote is sacred. Thank you for doing whatever you can to protect our vote.
