Tell Senator:
Dear Senator, As your constituent, I want to thank you for fighting to make sure that all voters can cast their ballot safely this November. Please continue these important efforts — by urging your Republican colleagues in the Senate to allocate the rest of the $4 billion that experts say states will need to hold successful elections in the fall.
We saw widespread issues during the primaries in states like Wisconsin, Georgia, and now Kentucky and New York. It’s clear that the COVID-19 crisis is having a major impact on our democracy — and unless Congress responds, these elections will be a preview of what’s to come in November.
No one should have to choose between risking their health or forfeiting their right to vote. We must make sure every state has the resources it needs to protect voters’ rights and their wellbeing during this pandemic.
Please keep up the fight to make sure Congress’ next COVID-19 response package includes $3.6 billion for safe, efficient elections. Thank you!
